User Guide

Welcome to the SonicSmile family! We're excited that you've joined us on the journey to truly clean teeth.

  1. Brush and floss your teeth normally.
  2. Identify the areas that have dental calculus that needs to be removed. Calculus is typically a yellow or brown deposit that hardens on and between teeth.
  3. Turn on your SonicSmile Wand, and choose from the 5 vibration intensity levels. We recommend starting on the lowest level, then increasing it as is comfortable for you.
  4. Scrape gently over the targeted dental calculus using very light pressure. Spend no more than 30 seconds on one area. You may need multiple sessions to fully break down and remove all the tartar.

Question: Is it safe?

Answer: Yes! As long as it is used with care and not directly on your enamel, our wand is 100% safe and cannot damage your enamel.

Question: How often should I use it?

Answer: We recommend using your SonicSmile™ Wand about once a week to remove calculus and stains.

Question: Can this be used with braces, crowns, dentures, and fillers?

Answer: Yes, our wand can be used with all of the above as long as you are careful and work around them.

Question: How can it be sterilized?

Answer: To clean your wand, place the metal tip in antimicrobial mouthwash for 3-5 minutes.

Question: How does it charge?

Answer: The SonicSmile Wand charges via USB, and takes 2 hours to fully charge.

Safety Information:

Our wand does not replace the dentist! You should still go to your dentist every 6 months for a professional cleaning, and so they can identify any potential problems with your teeth.

Do not use the SonicSmile Wand on areas with gum disease, infection, or implants. We do not recommend using our wand underneath the gum line.

The SonicSmile Wand is intended for ages 14 and up.
